Description
I had to do a lot of troubleshooting to get my printer running after the INDX upgrade, and that involved a lot of dock location calibrations. I was worried about wearing out the cut threads on my original docks, so I decided to make my own docks, but I had a really hard time finding the 3x8 mm magnets in the US. I ordered the 1/8" x 3/8" magnets from the link below and made this dock for them. I have had no issues with loading or unloading the tools using these magnets. I have made 2 versions: one that has the same hole as the standard docks, and another that has a hole meant for 3x4x5 mm heat-set inserts like those used on Voron printers, in case you want a reusable thread.
EDIT: I have added another version for the model that uses heat-set inserts. I made it so there is plastic behind the insert, allowing the screw to bite into it and prevent loosening, while the insert prevents the risk of "stripping" the cut threads.
