A6 Mini Paper Shredder Replacement Crank Handle

A replacement crank handle designed for compact A6 manual paper shredders.

The original handle on my shredder broke, so I designed a stronger replacement that can be easily 3D printed. The outer surface uses vertical ribs to improve grip while also increasing the stiffness of the handle body.

The lower section has a smooth transition around the shaft connection area to reduce stress concentration during operation.

Recommended Printing Settings

- Material: PETG recommended

- Infill: 40–100%

- Perimeters: 4 or more recommended

- Nozzle: 0.4mm

- Supports: Depending on print orientation

Installation

Insert the handle onto the shredder's crank shaft and check that it fits securely before use.

A very small amount of plastic-compatible grease can be applied to the shaft or rotating contact surfaces to reduce friction and make the mechanism smoother.

Notes

This model was designed for the specific mini manual shredder shown in the photos. Similar A6 shredders may use the same or a similar crank mechanism, but shaft dimensions can vary between manufacturers.

Check the shaft dimensions of your shredder before printing.
