The original design works well as a simple vertical laptop holder up to 20mm thickness laptop. This remix adds a horizontal expansion concept , allowing multiple holders to be placed/combined side-by-side to create a larger storage system.

Instead of printing a completely different multi-slot stand, you can simply add more modules as your laptop collection grows .

Why I Remixed It

I liked the simple vertical design of the original laptop holder, but I wanted a solution for storing multiple laptops on the same desk, shelf or equipment tray .

Rather than making one large fixed-size holder, this version uses a modular approach .

Print one extension for an additional laptop, or print several and combine them horizontally. This makes the system more flexible because the storage capacity can grow with your requirements.

For example:

1 Original Stand + 1 Extension → 2 laptops

1 Original Stand + 2 Extensions → 3 laptops

2 Original Stand + 3 Extensions → 5 laptops

4 Original Stand + 5 Extensions → 9 laptops

…and the same concept can be extended further depending on the available space and required stability.

This can be particularly useful for IT equipment storage, laptop deployment areas, repair benches, home offices, schools, labs and workplaces where several laptops need to be stored neatly together.
