Ender 3 S1 Pro Sprite Flat Cable Holder – Broken Tab Fix

This cable holder was designed for the Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro / Sprite Extruder as a solution for a broken flat cable mounting tab.

The original cable holder design relies on the small plastic tab next to the flat cable connector. If that tab breaks, the original holder can no longer be properly secured.

This version solves that problem by using the existing screws from the hotend/extruder PCB as mounting points.

The support passes behind the flat cable connector , holding the cable firmly in position without relying on the original plastic tab.

### Important compatibility note

If the original plastic mounting tab is still present, this part will NOT fit.

The support occupies exactly the same space where that tab normally sits.

This model is therefore intended mainly for printers where the original tab has already broken.

It is also possible to intentionally remove the original tab and use this holder as a complete replacement for the original cable retention system.

### Installation

The holder:

* mounts using the existing PCB/hotend screws;

* passes behind the flat cable connector;

* keeps the flat cable firmly supported;

* does not depend on the original cable mounting tab;

* requires no modification to the flat cable itself.

No additional mounting hardware should be necessary if the original screws are available.

### Why I designed it

The mounting tab on my Ender 3 S1 Pro broke, making the original cable holder unusable.

I initially looked for existing cable holders, but the designs I found still depended on the original mounting tab.

So I redesigned the mounting system around the screws already available on the Sprite extruder assembly.

The result has been installed and tested on my printer and keeps the flat cable firmly secured behind the connector.
