Description

Raspberry Pi 3 B+ internally screwless case (snaps shut) with built in frame mount for Prusa MK3s+. The Raspberry Pi's ports are fully accessible (specifically this would be external ports for all 4 USB, network, HDMI, 5v micro USB power, 3.5mm audio, SD card slot, and internal ports of GPIO header, and CSI camera connector) and the mounting hides it away behind the frame. This version was lowered to fit underneath top frame mounted accessories, such as LED light bars.

For me, the corner nearest the mount point was very tough to snap the peg in, it's because of that edge that slots behind that section, there's no extra tolerance there (see the circled parts of the 4th picture to see what I mean). If you have that problem, you can either snap it in a few times without the raspberry pi (to avoid possible damage) to loosen it up (that's what I did) or perhaps do a little cutting or filing there. Or maybe it depends on the filament material.

I had purchased the LED lightbar years ago by In3DSpace on etsy, and I'm glad my quick remix to lower the raspberry pi case worked.

Be sure to check the credits of this remix, and then where he remixed it from, this remix wouldn't exist if not the entire chain of contributors.

Requires 2 M3x8 or 2 M3x10 screws to attach the case to the frame. Model this was remixed from said M3x10, but I didn't have any and M3x8 worked just fine, the screws don't protrude past the frame on the other side that way.

I'll be ordering a 6" USB A to B cable to connect the raspberry pi 3b+ to the Einsy mainboard of the i3 mks3+, and fortunately someone posted a picture in this amazon item looking like they used that cable for this exact purpose on a mk3 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000067RMY

No supports were needed when I printed with HTPLA+. Should be similar for other materials, just had to remove some stringing. If anyone is curious, the color is a Fusion Filaments Plutonic Purple.
