Description

02.04.2022: Adapted my design for the use of a 3-wire 25x25x6mm hotend fan. A 3-wire fan is compatible with the Prusa MK3-firmware. The original Revo Micro fan delivered by E3D has only 2 wires and I couldn't find a 3-wire 20x20x10 fan with enough air volume (>1.9 CFM) so I adapted the fan-holder for a 25x25x6mm fan.

You can use following Sunon types:

- MF25060V1-1000U-H99 (also Q und S-types) - KD0502PEB1-8 You should check that the fan is a 5V, 25x25x6mm, 3-wire PWM-model with at least 1.9 CFM.
