Knife Holder - Vertical Knife Displaystand - 4/5 Knifes

This is a vertical displaystand for 4/5 knifes. The models are available in different shelve-configurations. Also they come in an open and closed variety.

The model endings show the configuration of the shelves from bottom to top:

The “k” suffix is a shelve scaled for Opinel/Victorinox Huntsman style knifes (max. hight: 25 - 30mm.

The “g” suffix is a shelve scaled for wider styles of knifes (max hight: ca. 45mm).

You can choose the width of the stand with the different middlepieces. ("-65" is my what i use and my recomendation).

You need 2 of the sidepieces and 3 middlepieces of the same kind.

The parts are simply pressed together between the slots. The thickness of 4mm seems to be plenty strong in this configuration.

After pinting the sidepieces, let them cool down slowly on the printbed to prevent warping.

Update 1 : I uploaded another sidepiece model with 5 steps. The middlepiece_v1-2 is a little bit shorter.

Update 2 : I reworked my CAD Models to be more flexible. So I uploaded the new models in a variety of sizes. Also the sidepieces now come in a variant with this cool structure, after i saw the picture of the first Make and couldn't replicate it in PrusaSlicer. The middlepieces are now available in different widths and are smaller than the old versions.

Update 3: The v2 Model was a little bit too wobbly for my liking. So a second middlepiece was added for all models. And a third middlepiece for the 'ggkk' and bigger models.

I haven't printed the taller versions, thus i can't commet on how stable these models are…

The first models were moved into the old folder.
