Large sticks can be removed using an m3 screw down the centre, to push the original stick out. Or use the steak knife method by gently cutting a split and they remove nice and easy.

I cleaned the inside of the prints to get a good fit, no cleaning = tight, and moderate cleaning = snug and easy to fit. (see the image below; using callipers for cleaning) .

Just see how you get on, it really comes down to printer settings!
