>>> UPDATE from 27/06/2024

In the old version (6) the handles of the inner ring (printed) and Coockit original lid were not aligned. This has been changed in version 7.

I myself have been using V7 for a long time, but forgot to post this version here.

Attention : Version 7 also includes minimal changes to the lugs, as these no longer ‘curled’ after prolonged use. This can still happen today, especially when all parts are still cold. The cause is too large a gap (A), which can be remedied by briefly pressing the ring towards the holder (B), which permanently reduces the gap and the Cookit remains ‘locked’

(I have also experimented with other versions, e.g. larger ring, larger nose. The problem seems to be the different expansion coefficients of the materials, so that the lugs no longer fit after prolonged use.)

By the way: Is pouring with the pot too awkward for you because it is simply too heavy for one wrist? Then take a look at my handle ( HG ). I've been using it for a year and a half (ASA Filament).

End UPDATE <<<<

The Bosch Cookit refuses to operate when the lid is open and a stirring tool is being used at the same time. Of course, I understand that this lock makes sense when using the fast-turning universal knife. However, it is annoying when cooking with the 3D stirrer or mixing dough with the twin whisks, especially as the Cookit can only be opened with 2 hands.

That's why I printed this dummy ring lid, which unlocks the Cookit but still allows access to the mixing bowl.

Caution: do not use it under any circumstances when using the universal knife. In addition to the risk of injury from accidentally reaching in, there is also the risk of something being catapulted out due to the high speeds.

To be able to close the pot quickly and, above all, with one hand, there is a simple lid that you can simply put on.

I printed the dummy ring with a 0.8 Nozzle from recycled Prusa PETG, the lid from transparent PLA.

I have used the current Alpha4 of the Prusaslicer. If you open the file with the current release version there is a warning, but you can ignore it. I use the organic support structure (tree). Please make sure that you cut the nipples on the ring cleanly after printing, as they have to fit very precisely. I always do this with a Dremel.
