Description

This adapter replaces the outer barrel of the airsoft replica Arrow Arms APC9.

I created this adapter to be able to use most 14mm ccw muzzle device attachments for airsoft on the market. Flash hiders, thread protectors, muzzle breaks, suppressors etc.

The printed block is made to house the inner barrel and hopup chamber and lock into place the same way the original outer barrel does. Therefore the small grub screw will be needed the same way in this adapter as in the original outer barrel.

This adapter uses the AirsoftPro Snow Wolf M24 suppressor adapter (link) aluminium 18mm (ccw) to 14mm (ccw) for good durability. This part is availiable in many stores around the world, not just AirsoftPro's own webshop.

The adapter is made to a very snug fit, depending on your printer settings you might need to give the inside tube and threads a light sanding before assembly.

The metal M24 adapter is tricky to get the threads started when assembling and will be tight to screw into the adapter block. I recommend attaching the M24 adapter to a suppressor or a barrel extender to give yourself some extra leverage when screwing the parts together, watch out for crossthreading.

Printed successfully with the threaded end (front end) down towards the print bed.

Printed in PLA with 0.20mm layer height.

Wall thickness of 3 lines.

Infill at least 30% for durability. Would probably go up to as much as 50% if you want to be on the safe side.

Supports should not be necessary, except for maybe the small screw hole and the locking pin slot on the hopup side of the model.
