Description

Fillament / PFTE-tube (for MMU2) guide.

This filament guide should solve the 90degree angle filament path problem for higher prints inside the IKEA LACK enclosures. It allows filament to move around and rotate more to prevent it bending in sharp angels making it harder to get pulled from the spindle, get jammed or even break.

I designing this to be wide enough to pass PTFE-tubes as I'm planning to get the Prusa MMU2 and put it on top of the 3D printer enclosure but all the filament spindles, passing just 1 ptfe-tube through the bottom enclosure toward the 3D printer.

I designed it to use M3 nuts and bolts. Printed from Prusa orange (Colorfabb) nGen filament without support. Use a screw driver to holed the nuts in place while screwing in the bolts from the top.

Now with Pattern tool :

- Place the pattern where you want to have it op the top side of the Lack table. - Draw the “Top” pattern, and mark the center hole. - Drill as straight as possible through the center hole all the way out the bottom. - Now align your pattern tool on the bottom side of the Lack table with the hole you just drilled and draw the outside of the pattern tool - Now cut / drill out everything inside the patterns you just drew.

#Update 21-07-2022 : - Made a pattern tool that can be used to make the needed holes with alignment. - Added nut holders inside the nut holes. This should help pressing the nuts in once and not have to hold them or have them falling out during assembly.
