X2 Fang MK2

A 200% scale version of the Talon Fang MK2 with the shortened frontend.

NOT A BEGINNER BUILD.

933370A507 needs to be scaled to 200%. Base blaster files are not included and need to be scaled to 200%. Other included files are already scaled to 200%. Sizing should make it easy to distinguish as scaled parts are huge.

Use a 200% scale of a half length nerf mag. A mag with a drum spring is preferable as a larger drum spring will be used. Pictured example is a Sure-t Mag.

Holes for the Milan Coupler and magwells need to be bored out with a 3/8 drill bit.

Shoots about the same distance as the talon fang mk2.

1 Inch nerf darts are required to use this blaster. Must make them by hand currently using a 200% scaled dart cutter and hardware listed below.

Some soft foam for the front of the dart head. Shown darts have neoprene foam as the dart tip.

Contact cement and liquid super glue.

Hardware is mostly from Mcmaster. Some of the parts are at Lowes and other hardware stores.

Note all hardware is 2 times the size of regular talon fang hardware.

A pipe cutter at least able to cut 3 inch tubes.

Dremel to chamfer cuts.

5/8 OD around .5 ID tubing. Damaged caliburn barrels work. 9.25 inch length.

1 foot length 3 inch OD, 2 ¾ ID 1/8 thickness Polycarbonate tube. Mcmaster 8585K38, Length is easiest to measure using the blaster and cutting just below the end of the milan coupler.

1 3/8-16 regular hex nut, this needs the nut spacer as its used for the barrel clamping screw

This Extension spring, Mcmaster 9044K321

Adhesive back silicone sheet ¼ inch thickness. Example Mcmaster 2614T87, 1/8 thickness also should work. Need to cut a shock pad out using the cutting template.

This drum spring for the respective magazine Mcmaster 1845N4, foam blast spring also works as a temporary solution.

2 2 feet length 1 inch wide, 3/16 thick aluminum bar Mcmaster 8975K58, Use the priming bar cut stl to figure out length to cut. Stl needs to be cut using the cut tool in slicer to for most build plates.
