Monstera Moss Pole - MossyHydrator

A modular moss pole with built-in drip irrigation for Monstera and other climbing plants. The pole screws together in sections, so you can extend it as your plant grows. A watering funnel on top lets water wick down through the moss — no more daily misting.

Three sizes available:

- 68mm diameter — heavy duty, includes optional drip irrigation attachment

- 50mm diameter (braided) — lighter, decorative look

- 50mm diameter (simple) — compact and quick to print

Components

- Base — stable foundation with three 1/4" fiberglass rods for anchoring in the pot

- Threaded sections — modular, screw together for the height you need

- Watering funnel — sits on top, small holes encourage wicking into the moss

- Drip irrigation container (68mm only) — attaches to the pole with adjustable water flow (Version 2 has built-in flow control, no external dripper needed)

Bill of Materials

- Fiberglass rods (1/4" diameter) — cut from a driveway marker rod from Home Depot

- 1/4" distribution tubing + 1/2 GPH dripper (optional, for drip version) — Amazon

- Silicone grease or food-safe lubricant for the threads

Print Settings

- Material: PETG (I used Hatchbox brass/copper PETG)

- Nozzle: 0.4 mm

- Layer height: 0.2 mm

- Supports: none

- Brim: recommended for funnel and pole sections

- Apply grease to threads after printing — PETG threads need lubrication to avoid binding
