3D Bubble Letters of the Alphabet v1

Original model from rhcreations over at Sketchfab was made in Blender, which looks great in rendering software but when you export it the actual geometry was too simple for a high quality 3D print.

I added “subdivision surface modifiers" to each of the letters, which increased the geometry substantially so that we get avoid that low-poly look of the original export. All that to say… when printed these look really nice.

Recommendations:

- Scaled to 600% to give about 5.5" height - Adjust z-axis about 20mm to give the letters a flat back for mounting with command strips (if you don't you'll need supports most likely) - Use variable layer height to give the rounded top layer a smoother surface (uploaded pic of the settings) - I primed/sanded the letters using Rust-Oleum Automotive 2-in-1 Filler & Sandable Primer and then painted them with a coat of glossy spray paint (see the white H picture)
