Description

Changes:

2020-02-27: changed FilamentFeeder_Top for easier printing.

After building my "Original Prusa i3 MK3 ENCLOSURE -Ikea Lack table - Prusa Research", i bought a MMU2s for my Prusa i3 MK3S but did not want to change the enclosure. So i created this IKEA Lack MMU extension to have access to my MMU and feed the tubes from the filament spool holders to the printer.

I recommend using these spool holders ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3228827 ) as they allow you to get rid of the original filament buffer which needs lots of space.

WARNING: I tested it using the Prusa i3 MK3S and MMU2s. Other models might need customization. Please inform me, if these are needed for your printer/mmu-setup.

Build Instructions:

- Build up you IKEA Lack enclosure ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2864118 ) with two or three IKEA Lack tables (i recommend 3)

- saw two holes (40x260mm & 195x150mm) in the table surface as seen in the second screenshot. You will need a saw with a blad length of 50mm or above

- print the parts included here and click them together (You might want to fix them a bit usings some glue)

- Place your Original Prusa Printer with the MMU on the top in your enclosure below the plate you just added the parts from this thing

- Place your Spool holders and connect them to the MMU

- Enjoy your access to your MMU and happy printing.
