Stackable Featherboard with Replaceable Heads (Optimized for 5/16" and Dewalt Table Saw 7491)

I really like the replaceable head design from Featherboard with Replaceable Heads (m6) but some parts of the original don't work that well for me. Therefore I changed the design to accept 5/16" nuts and bolts and optimize it for Dewalt table saw 7491.

What to print?

- 1 of Main part - main_body_5_16.stl - Support not needed - 1 of Miter bar for t-slot - If your table saw is Dewalt, print miter_t_slot_5_16_dewalt_7491.stl. I think it'll fit other Dewalt table saws as well but I have no way to verify. - You can use miter_t_slot_5_16_dewalt_7491_test_print.stl to quickly verify whether it works for you before you print the whole bar. - For others, you can check if miter_t_slot_5_16.stl (changed based on the original model) meets your needs. I didn't print this one so if it doesn't fit, there's other miter bar models available here or on other websites. - Support might be needed to get cleaner hex head holes. - 2 of Knob - knob_5_16.stl - I didn't print this model since I already have 5/16" star knobs from my previous project. I can't guarantee it'll work. If it doesn't work, there's plenty of other choices available such as this or this . - - Feathers - Please print one or more from the original models . - (Optional) 2 of Spacer - spacer_40mm.stl - Only print this if you need a higher featherboard. And don't forget to print another set of featherboard. - Support needed. Hardware Requirement

Note that the length listed below indicates the total length, not just the thread part.

- 3 M3 x 15mm SHCS to secure feathers to the board. - 2 5/16" (2" long should be enough) hex nuts and bolts to secure the featherboard to the table saw. - For the double featherboard, you'll need a 4" long bolt. The number will change based on the height of your knob. Note

- The .step and .f3d (Fusion 360) files are included. Feel free to make any changes and share with the community. If you use Fusion 360, you can try changing the parameter values to quickly modify the models. However, I don't know whether it'll always work. - I designed the spacer to loosely fit with the main part since I just wanted to make the alignment a bit easier when putting spacers on. You can leave a comment for me to request a new model, although it'll definitely be faster if you modify the design to get what you want.
