Description
For English see below.

This is an LCD cover for the MK3.5 on which it was also printed. This is a multi-colour print without MMU. The necessary colour changes are done by hand, which is no problem. This procedure is described in various places on the Internet for the MK3S. On the MK3.5 (firmware 5.2.1), however, I had considerable problems with it, perhaps the printer's firmware does not (yet) support this type of multi-colour printing. There were e.g. unnecessary filament changes at the beginning of the print, collisions between nozzle and print part, blobs on the print part after the colour change, ...
I made some additional changes to the Prusa Slicer in order to achieve the desired success. In addition, two small cubes were placed next to the model to catch the unwanted blobs after the colour change. All settings should be traceable in the 3mf file.
One of the important changes is additional G-code specified in the “Printer” - “Custom G-code” section in Prusa slicer:
Tool change G-code:
{if previous_extruder != -1} ; Manual filament change and nozzle lift (by one layer height) after filament change and prepare nozzle M600 G1 Z{layer_z+layer_height} {endif} Notes:
- At the start of printing, the printer reports that the wrong filament has been inserted. Simply confirm this message with "OK". - The logos and lettering are not visible in the 3mf, but will still be printed ;-)
Update 18.03.2024:
The "with frame" files also have a frame around the display (untested) Update 23.06.2025
- Zusätzlicher Hinweis auf geänderten G-Code - Additional reference to changed G-code
