Description
Comes with two parts - the t-slot mount and the dial indicator mount. They do not require any printing support. I used .16mm layer height but .2mm should also work.
Combine the parts by first inserting t-slot mount into the table saw and then using a mallet to gently snap them together. A pliers or clamp will also work to squeeze them together. If they need to be separated, perhaps for a modified print, clamp the piece down and tap the end of a small flathead screwdriver at the seam to release the snaps.
This was tested against the DeWalt 7491 table saw which has a 6" separation between the blade to left side miter slot. The t-slot mount is very snug. If your print doesn't slide in easily, I'd recommend some paste wax and use a mallet to tap it in. Some light sanding or edge trimming may help too, but it's important that it is tight to minimize play in the measurement.
The dial indicator should also fit snuggly into the mount. It has a ¼" lug on the bottom that will reduce any movement - there's a hole to insert a rod or dowel. I used a standard ¼" drill bit and it held firmly.
Here's a good video on how to go about making the alignment on the saw. Let me know if this helped you!
