A huge part of FIRST Robotics is automatic vision data collection and processing. Recently, AprilTags were introduced, bringing about a vision processing revolution. One of the most common ways to use the AprilTags is to use an Orange Pi 5 and the OV2311 Camera to localize your robot on the field.

While the XRP robot introduces students to the basics of programming, it does not yet have the capability to teach accurate vision processing and localization quite yet. So, I introduce to you the combined Orange Pi 5 and OV2311 Camera mount for the Experiential Robotics Platform! It allows you to develop, test, and teach complex vision processing and localization processes, all on the XRP, ensuring your team will be ready for the season!

This model provides a stable mount for your Orange Pi and camera, creating a seamless drop in addon for your XRP robot. It uses the rail mounting system that the XRP has in order to quickly be attached to the robot.

This model has been optimized to require zero support. Just print it on its side and you'll be good to go! Happy printing!

Hardware Required: While no hardware is required to mount this print to your robot, you will need hardware to mount both the Orange Pi and the OV2311 camera. For accurate vision localization, solid mounting is required.
