Description

This is a universal heavy-duty plug and aesthetic trim designed specifically for the hollow legs of the IKEA Lack furniture series (coffee tables, TV stands, side tables).

When hacking an IKEA Lack table to customise their height, you have to cut the legs. Since Lack legs are mostly hollow inside (except for the very ends), cutting them leaves an open gap that compromises stability and looks unfinished.

This 3D-printed plug solves both problems acting both as a solid structural base that friction-fits perfectly into the cut leg and as an aesthetic trim that completely covers the rough saw cut, eliminating the need for tedious wood filler, sanding, or paint retouching.

###🔧 Assembly Instructions:

1. Print the plugs: Print 4 copies of the model (or the specific amount your custom hack requires). 2. Cut the legs: While your printer is at it, cut your IKEA Lack legs to your desired height. Note: The plugs will add 5mm to the total leg height, so subtract that from your calculation! 3. Assemble: Push the 3D-printed plug into the bottom of the cut leg. It is designed for a snug, snap-fit. 4. Finish: Level the table and enjoy a clean, professional finish with a cool pop of colour.
