1/35 BTR Turrets and Battle Modules: 3D Models

This collection gathers 3D models of turrets, battle modules and related fittings sized around the 1/35 scale used by armor builders. It covers both real-world vehicle turrets and fictional mounts, so you can compare how different authors split a turret into parts before you send an STL to a 3D printer. Polyzon does not confirm whether models are free, their price, license, official status, affiliation, safety or fitness. Check the current terms at the source.

«1/35 BTR Turrets and Battle Modules: 3D Models»

The models fall into a few groups. Some are turrets for wheeled armored personnel carriers, often offered as a single body or as a shell with a separate mantlet and hatch. Others are battle modules built for a specific chassis family, where the module includes the mount, the sight housing and sometimes a weapon. Historical tank turrets appear as well, including multi-turret designs, alongside fictional sentry and automated turrets that follow the same 1/35 footprint.

Scale is the first thing to confirm. A file labeled 1/35, 1:35 or 1-35 should match the kit you already have, while 1/72 and 1/100 versions of the same subject are usually separate files with thinner walls and less detail. On the author's page, look at the part count and how the pieces join, whether the barrel is separate, whether the model is hollow or solid, and whether the author notes supports or a preferred orientation. Photos of an actual print show more than a render.

Search results improve when you vary the wording. Try turret, tower, cupola, gun mount or combat module, and pair them with a chassis type rather than a single designation. Adding the scale in different notations, such as 1/35 and 1:35, brings up listings that use one form only. Related terms like conversion, interior, turret basket or barrel also lead to parts that fit the same builds.

FAQ

Preguntas frecuentes

What does 1/35 mean for a turret model?
It is a scale ratio: one unit on the model equals thirty-five of the same units on the real vehicle. Check that the turret and the kit you plan to pair it with use the same ratio, since 1/35, 1/72 and 1/100 versions are usually different files.
Can a 1/35 turret file be rescaled to another size?
It can be scaled in the slicer, but wall thickness, small fittings and tolerances change with it. The author's notes often state which scale the geometry was drawn for, so read those before resizing.
Do turret models need supports when printing?
It depends on the geometry: overhanging mantlets, hollow interiors and thin sight housings usually need them, while a flat-bottomed turret shell may not. Look at the author's print photos and any stated orientation.
What should I check before printing a battle module?
Confirm the part count and how the pieces assemble, whether the module is a complete unit or a shell that needs extra parts, and how it attaches to the hull. The mounting interface and overall dimensions matter more than the render.
