FPV Drone Frames: 3D Models and STL Files

This collection gathers 3D-printable FPV drone frames, from small micro quads to five-inch racing and long-range builds. The models differ mainly by prop size, arm layout and how the electronics are mounted, so the same 3D printing workflow can lead to very different results. It is a useful starting point if you already fly FPV or want to build a frame around parts you have. Polyzon does not confirm whether models are free, their price, license, official status, affiliation, safety or fitness. Check the current terms at the source.

«FPV Drone Frames: 3D Models and STL Files»

Frame size is the first split you will notice. Micro and sub-250 g designs use short arms and compact bodies, three- to four-inch frames sit in between and often carry a camera cage, while five-inch and larger frames use longer arms and wider motor spacing. Some files are one-piece unibody designs, others are built from separate arms, plates and a camera mount that bolt together.

Before printing, read what the author lists on the model page: prop size, motor mount pattern, stack and camera mounting holes, arm thickness and the material the design was drawn for. Check whether the file is split for a smaller build volume and whether supports are needed on overhangs. Photos of real prints and any stated print settings tell you more than the render.

To find more options, search by frame class and layout rather than by brand: quadcopter frame, cinewhoop frame, toothpick or microquad frame, unibody frame, long-range frame. Adding the prop size, the mounting standard or the word STL narrows the results further, and related terms such as camera mount, arm set or antenna holder can surface parts that go with a frame.

FAQ

Preguntas frecuentes

What should I check before printing an FPV drone frame?
Look at the prop size, motor mount pattern and the mounting holes for the flight stack and camera, then compare them with the parts you have. The model page usually also states arm thickness, intended material and whether supports are required.
Which material is used for printed drone frames?
Authors often name the filament they designed around, and it varies between stiff and more impact-tolerant plastics. Check the model page and your printer's capabilities, since layer adhesion and part orientation affect how a frame behaves.
Can a printed frame be repaired after a crash?
Many designs are assembled from separate arms and plates, so a damaged section can be reprinted and swapped. Unibody frames usually have to be reprinted as a whole, which is worth knowing before you choose a layout.
How do I search for a frame in a specific size?
Combine a size or class term with the frame word, for example 3 inch FPV frame, 5 inch quadcopter frame or micro quad frame STL. Adding a mounting standard or camera type helps filter results that match your parts.
