3D models for nozzle cases and storage: STL files

This collection gathers STL files for keeping 3D printer nozzles tidy, from small containers for one spare part to trays with slots for a whole set. Most designs are made for 3D printing at the desk, so you can replace a worn nozzle and put the new one back in its place. The range covers hinged boxes, threaded caps and organizers that sit in a drawer. Polyzon does not confirm whether models are free, their price, license, official status, affiliation, safety or fitness. Check the current terms at the source.

«3D models for nozzle cases and storage: STL files»

Cases differ mainly in how many nozzles they hold and how the lid closes. Some are drawn around one hotend family, with cavities shaped for a specific nozzle length, while others leave the openings open so you can adjust them in a slicer. Print-in-place versions come as one piece with a living hinge, and screw-cap containers replace the hinge with a threaded closure. Compartment organizers go further and mix nozzle slots with room for other small parts.

Before printing, read the author's page for the internal dimensions and the nozzle shape the cavity was drawn around, since a long threaded nozzle and a short one need different depths. Check how many parts the model has and whether the lid uses separate hardware, a printed pin or nothing at all. Look at the material and layer settings the author lists, and at photos of real prints, because thin walls and small hinges behave differently in different filaments.

If a search returns little, try related wording: holder, organizer, tray, insert, container, storage box, spare parts. Adding your hotend or printer series narrows the results, while broader terms such as toolhead or extruder parts bring in drawers and inserts that also hold nozzles. Searching for the tools you keep beside them, such as cleaning needles or lubricant, can surface combined organizers.

FAQ

Preguntas frecuentes

How do I choose the right size for a nozzle case?
Compare the cavity dimensions given on the model page with the length and thread of your nozzles. If the design is parametric, adjust the opening and depth in the slicer before exporting.
Do these designs need support material?
Overhangs are usually kept small, but lids, threads and hinges vary from model to model. The author's page normally states whether support material is needed and where it goes.
Which filament works for a storage box?
A rigid filament you already print with is a reasonable starting point, since the case only holds parts and stiffness matters more than heat resistance. Check the author's notes for wall thickness and hinge advice.
Can other hotend parts go in the same box?
Many organizers include extra compartments for small spare parts. If you plan to keep longer items such as heat breaks or tools, check the internal layout before printing.
