LoRa 32 Cases and Enclosures: 3D Models

This collection gathers 3D models built around LoRa 32 development boards: pocket shells, slim cases, and housings that leave room for a battery or extra modules. Most files are made for 3D printing at home, so the fit depends on your board revision and your printer's tolerances. Use the list to compare layouts before you commit filament to a full print. Polyzon does not confirm whether models are free, their price, license, official status, affiliation, safety or fitness. Check the current terms at the source.

«LoRa 32 Cases and Enclosures: 3D Models»

The models fall into a few recognizable groups. Pocket and slim cases wrap the board tightly and keep the profile low, while larger housings add a bay for a cylindrical or pouch cell and often a switch cutout. A third group is designed around extra hardware: GPS receivers, buzzers, rotary encoders, vibration motors or environmental sensors, with openings and mounting posts placed for those parts.

Board revisions differ in port placement, button positions and antenna layout, so read the model page before printing. Check the stated board version, the number of separate parts and how they join, whether the author used screws, heat-set inserts or snap fits, and whether supports are needed for overhangs. The material and settings the author lists, plus photos of real prints, tell you more about the result than a render does.

If the first results are too narrow, try related wording: enclosure, shell, housing, pager, node body, or the name of the module family instead of the board name. Searching by the extra part you want to fit, such as a battery size or a sensor type, also brings up different designs. Comparing two or three layouts side by side makes it easier to pick one that matches your board and how you plan to carry it.

FAQ

Preguntas frecuentes

How do I know a case fits my specific LoRa 32 board revision?
The model page usually names the board version it was drawn for. Compare that with the port, button and antenna positions on your own board, and check any notes about tolerances or scaling.
Do these enclosures need supports?
It varies by design. Some are split into parts that print flat, others have overhangs for ports or clips. The author's description or the model orientation in the file usually shows what is required.
Can I fit a battery inside these cases?
Several designs include a compartment sized for a common cell type, and some are made for a specific cell. Check the stated dimensions and whether there is room for wiring and a connector.
What should I check before adding a GPS or sensor module?
Look for a model that already has mounting posts and openings for that part, or enough internal space to place it. Antenna placement and cable routing are worth checking on the page.
