Pneumatic LEGO 3D Models: Tanks, Valves, Connectors

This collection gathers STL files for pneumatic parts used in brick-built mechanisms: tanks, valves, cylinders, T-pieces, hose connectors and wheels. Most of it is aimed at people who build air-driven machines and need a part that the standard assortment does not cover. The files come from different platforms, so each listing has its own description and printing notes. Polyzon does not confirm whether models are free, their price, license, official status, affiliation, safety or fitness. Check the current terms at the source.

«Pneumatic LEGO 3D Models: Tanks, Valves, Connectors»

The parts fall into a few groups. Tanks and reservoirs store air for a circuit, while T-pieces, hose connectors and adapters join the lines between them. Valves, switches and levers control when air moves, and cylinders or small air-driven motors turn that pressure into motion. A separate group covers wheels and tyres for brick-built vehicles, where the printed part replaces or extends the original one.

Before printing, read the author's page for the details that decide whether a part works in your build. Check the stated size and scale against the bricks you already have, count the separate pieces and see how they assemble, and note whether the shape needs supports. The material and settings the author lists matter here, because thin walls and small bores behave differently in different filaments. Photos of real prints show how the part looks once made, including the surface around openings and threads.

If the first search gives little, try other wordings for the same idea: air tank, reservoir, pressure vessel, hose, tube, nipple, adapter, T-connector, manifold. Searching for the mechanism rather than the part helps too, for example air engine, pneumatic circuit or vacuum line. Related topics such as brick-built machines, mechanical linkages and small compressors often lead to parts that fit the same system.

FAQ

Preguntas frecuentes

What files do I need to build a pneumatic circuit?
A basic circuit usually needs a pressure source, a tank or reservoir, valves to control the flow, and tubing with connectors to link the parts. Cylinders or a small air-driven motor convert the pressure into movement. Which of these you print depends on what you already own.
Do printed pneumatic parts need supports?
It depends on the shape. Parts with internal bores, overhangs or hollow bodies often need them, while flat connectors and simple T-pieces may not. The author's page usually states whether supports are required and where they should go.
Which material works for air-tight parts?
Rigid filaments that print with solid walls tend to hold pressure better than soft ones, and a higher wall count reduces leaks at the seams. The settings the author lists are a starting point, but small fittings may still need sanding or sealing at the joints.
How do I find a part when I do not know its name?
Describe the function instead: air tank, hose connector, valve, switch, cylinder, adapter. Searching for the mechanism, such as pneumatic engine or air circuit, also brings up parts that serve the same purpose under different names.
