The models fall into a few groups. Simple clips and holders grip a strap or band and keep it folded or out of the way. Adjusters and tensioners take round elastic or flat band and let you change the length. Slotted mounts and corner brackets fix a strap, cable or strip to a surface, while locks and clamps are built for wider webbing such as cargo or ratchet straps.
