3D Models of Stands: Love Signs, 9mm and Cards

This collection gathers STL stands that fall into a few clear groups: letter and heart signs, pistol display bases, card holders and figure bases. It is useful when you need a base for a printed object rather than the object itself, and want to see how other makers solved the same problem for 3D printing. Polyzon does not confirm whether models are free, their price, license, official status, affiliation, safety or fitness. Check the current terms at the source.

«3D Models of Stands: Love Signs, 9mm and Cards»

The groups differ mainly in what they hold and how they stand up. Letter and heart signs are usually flat shapes on a small foot or a slot, pistol stands are shaped cradles that keep a model upright, card holders are angled trays with a groove, and figure bases are simple plates or pegs. Mechanical versions add gears or moving parts, which changes both the part count and the assembly.

On the author's model page, look at the listed dimensions and scale first, then at the number of separate parts and how they join. Check whether the author prints the piece with supports, which material and layer height they used, and whether photos of real prints are included. For anything that holds weight, a wider base and a few extra perimeters at the bottom matter more than a decorative outline.

If the results are too narrow, try synonyms: display stand, holder, base, bracket, dock, or riser. Related searches such as desk organizer, pen holder, miniature base or model display often return the same kind of geometry. Combining a subject word with a function word, for example a heart shape plus a stand, usually narrows the list faster than the subject alone.

FAQ

Questions fréquentes

How do I choose a stand size for a model I already printed?
Measure the footprint and the height of the object, then compare those numbers with the dimensions listed on the model page. If the stand is close but not exact, scaling in the slicer is usually enough, as long as the slot or cradle keeps its proportions.
Do these stands need supports?
It depends on the shape. Flat letter signs and simple bases often print without them, while cradles, overhanging slots and angled card trays may need them. The author's page usually states how the model was oriented and whether supports were used.
Which material works for a stand that holds an object upright?
PLA is common for decorative pieces, while PETG or a tougher filament is often chosen for thin clips and pegs that flex. Layer orientation matters as much as the material: a peg printed flat can snap along the layer lines.
Can I adapt a card holder or figure base for another purpose?
Yes, if the geometry is simple. Scaling, cutting a slot wider or adding a hole in the slicer are straightforward edits, but check that the base stays wide enough to keep the new object from tipping.
