RC 3D Models in STL: Cars, Planes, Tanks, Boats

This collection covers RC 3D models in STL form: scale cars, aircraft, tanks, boats and hovercraft, along with stands, wheels and other small parts. It is a useful starting point for 3D printing a radio-controlled project, because you can compare scales, part counts and assembly approaches side by side. Polyzon does not confirm whether models are free, their price, license, official status, affiliation, safety or fitness. Check the current terms at the source.

«RC 3D Models in STL: Cars, Planes, Tanks, Boats»

The models differ mainly by body type and scale. Road cars and drift builds usually come as a shell plus separate wheels and hubs, aircraft arrive as fuselage, wing and tail sections that often need thin-wall printing, and tanks are broken into hull, turret and running gear. Boats and hovercraft sit between these groups: hulls are printed in sections, and the skirt or duct design changes how the model is assembled.

Before printing, read the author's page rather than the title alone. Check the stated scale and finished dimensions, how many parts the model has and how they join, whether supports are needed and where they land on visible surfaces, and which material and layer settings the author lists. Photos of real prints show how the surface and the joints turn out; electronics, motors and radio gear are usually chosen by the builder and are not part of the STL.

Search terms can be widened or narrowed depending on what you need. Try scale-based queries, body-style words such as drift, crawler, glider or tug, and related topics like wheel hubs, motor mounts, servo trays, canopies and cowls. If a specific vehicle type is hard to find, searching for the mechanical parts or the stand alone often returns more results.

Accessory models are worth a separate look. Stands, work supports and replacement tires appear alongside full vehicles and are often easier to print while you plan a larger build.

FAQ

よくある質問

What does the scale in an RC model mean?
It is the ratio between the model and the original vehicle, so 1:10 means the model is roughly one tenth the size. The finished dimensions matter more for printing, since the author may adjust the body to fit specific electronics.
Do these files include the electronics and radio gear?
Usually not. STL files describe the printed parts, while motors, servos, receivers and batteries are selected by the builder. The author's page often names the components used in the build.
What should I check before printing a large model?
Look at the number of parts, how the hull or body is split, whether supports are required, and the material and wall settings the author lists. Printing a small test section first shows how the joints and thin walls behave.
How can I find matching parts for a model?
Search for the part by function rather than by vehicle name, for example wheel hub, motor mount, servo tray or canopy. Scale and mounting dimensions are the values to compare between the model and the part.
