Headlight cover ( low beam headlights/ high beam headlights)

Hello, friends. These are the covers I designed for the low and high beam headlights of the Ford Focus MK2 facelift. I created 2 models: one exactly replicates the original (requires the use of supports), and the second is optimized for simplified FDM printing. You can see the difference in the photo. Measurements were taken from the original covers using calipers and a ruler. The model was developed in Compass 3D. Model screenshots were rendered in Blender.

Attention! The headlight housings for the covers vary in wear and may differ slightly in diameter. Additionally, different plastics have different shrinkage rates. If the covers do not fit tightly enough for some reason, you can slightly adjust the model's scale when printing.

Filament name: Nekrasov Polymer (the cheapest filament I had)

Filament type: PETG

Nozzle diameter: 0.4mm

Layer height: 0.2 mm

Fill Density: 20%

Supports: yes/no (see description)

Nozzle temperature: 245 degrees Celsius

Bed temperature: 80 degrees Celsius

First layer printing speed: 15 mm/s

Print speed: 60mm/s

Supports printing speed: 30mm/s

Airflow speed: 40%
