Creality K1Max Riser 50 mm with LED and Sliding Lid

Title: Creality K1Max Riser Design

Introduction: I present my customized version of a riser for the Creality K1Max 3D printer. Originally designed to meet my personal requirements, I believe it can benefit all users. The riser was printed using Prima Creator Select PLA with standard settings (0.2mm layer height).

Assembly Details:

The parts were assembled using glue, although this step is optional. The only component that requires gluing is the ventilation knob, which should be secured after inserting it into the frame.

The front glass, intended for a logo display, can be crafted from 3mm plexiglass. However, I opted to 3D print it using clear PETG (available in my storage). 😊

The riser features ventilation holes on three sides, allowing for easy adjustment and control.

Functional Features:

The lid opens to the left, providing convenient access.

To ensure a tight seal, I used a fuzzy strip (weather stripping) along with tape from a sliding door wardrobe.

Electronics and Power:

All electronic components were sourced from AliExpress.

I can replicate this set and offer it for sale to users who may find assembly challenging.

An external 4A power supply was chosen to avoid overloading the mainboard. This power supply is more than sufficient for the 3mm white COB and 3mm blue COB used for the front glass illumination and any future updates.

The power switch is touch-sensitive and includes a built-in dimmer.

Printing Details:

For slicing, I use the Orca Slicer.

The hotend has a 0.4mm nozzle.

During printing, I placed the corners on one bed and the vent parts on another.

Manual support was applied only to the bottom part that hangs over the printer (opposite the 45-degree side for the LEDs). Additionally, I used manual tree support for the upper front section (approximately 2mm wide).
