The armadillo, known for its armor-like shell, is a symbol of protection and resilience. These fascinating animals, native to the Americas, use their flexible bodies to burrow and explore various terrains. Inspired by this unique creature, we designed a fully articulated model with movable heads, flexible hands, and tails—combining realism with fun!

The Flexi Armadillo is a print-in-place design that requires no supports, making it a perfect print for all skill levels. Whether you're gifting it or adding it to your personal collection, it’s guaranteed to charm everyone! 🎁

Printing Tips for Best Results:

Adhesion: Ensure good bed adhesion, especially for the tail and head sections.

Scaling: The model prints best at 100% scale, but you can reduce it to as small as 60%. Do not go smaller than this to avoid print issues.

Brim/Raft: If printing smaller or in materials with lower adhesion, use a brim or raft for added stability.

Material Choice: Avoid brittle filament to prevent the tail or hands from snapping.

Adjustments: If the head feels too tight, increase its size by 1-2%.

Filament Recommendation:

We recommend vibrant filaments like Polymaker PolyTerra Pastel Rainbow, Sandstone, or Forest Green to bring this design to life.
