High-Speed Spinning Flywheel Fidget Toy

This is the "Flywheel Fidget Toy" model, designed to change your mood and help you relax.

This model includes a simple gear mechanism that rotates the flywheel at a very high speed compared to the input speed. You can feel the thrust and speed of the rotation. During rotation, the flywheel gears create a sound that will blow your mind, distract you from tension, and help you relax at the same time. No external bearings are used in this toy. You can also rotate it manually. It can be operated using a ballpoint pen spring or a rubber band. I have used both to achieve maximum torque to spin the flywheel.

I have added 4 different flywheel variations. You can remove them and update with new ones.

Materials Used:

1) CR-PLA Matte Black.

2) PLA+ Green or any color.

3) PLA+ Light Blue.

Print Parameters: (Common Settings)

Slicer Software: Creality Print 5.1.6

Printer: Ender 3 KE

Profile Mode: Normal Quality

Infill: 15%

Retraction: 2mm minimum

Print Speed: 300mm/sec.

Printing Temp: 220°C.

Support: Yes.

Note:

1) Use sandpaper if needed.

2) Use super glue for some fixed parts.

3) Use filament as a hinge pin. Use needle-nose pliers for the holes. (Do not create too much clearance in the hole; make sure the filament pin can easily and freely rotate inside).

4) If possible, apply lubrication inside the gear box.
