This upgrade replaces the stock filter housing to improve air quality and accessibility. It is specifically designed for users who keep their printer against a wall, allowing you to change filters from inside the chamber rather than the back.

1. The Filter Box

* Function: Holds a dual-stage filtration system.

* Stage 1 (Carbon): A refillable compartment for Activated Carbon Pellets (removes odors/VOCs).

* Stage 2 (HEPA): A front slot for a HEPA filter (removes fine particles).

* Hardware Required:

* M3 x 6mm screws (to secure the HEPA filter).

* HEPA Filter: Uses generic robot vacuum filters. Search Amazon for: "Ilife Vacuum model V3 / V3s / V5 / V5s Pro filters" (Dimensions approx. 40x80x15 mm).

2. The Air Intake Blocker

* Function: Prevents the intake fan from blowing air directly onto the print, which causes warping and deformation.

* Installation: No screws required. It fits in front of the intake fan.

* Mechanism: Features hinges that sit on top of the HEPA filter box and are squeezed securely in place by the filter caps.

Printing Recommendations

* Material: ABS or ASA is strongly recommended because the part sits inside a heated chamber. (PETG is listed as an option, but may warp if you print at high chamber temperatures).

* Infill: Standard structural settings (15-25%).
