Wera Screwdriver Holder – 3D-Printable Wall & Toolbox Mount for Ultimate Workshop Organization

Transform chaotic benches and rattling toolboxes into a tidy, professional-grade workspace with this purpose-built Wera Screwdriver Holder. Engineered around Wera’s signature “Kraftform” handles, the rack locks six drivers securely in place, keeping bits perfectly aligned and always within arm’s reach. Whether you print it in PLA for a climate-controlled shop or rugged PETG/ABS for a scorching garage, this 3D-printed tool holder turns unused wall space into a sleek storage zone that saves time, protects tips and boosts productivity.

Precision-Matched to Wera Handles

Every slot mirrors the tapered, hex-flared shaft of genuine Wera screwdrivers, so each tool slides in with a satisfying, wobble-free fit. The stepped channel accepts both long and stubby drivers—from #2 Phillips to wide flat-blades—while the open front lets you read size markings at a glance.

Space-Saving, Drill-Friendly Design

At just 140 × 85 mm, the holder nests six drivers in two compact rows, perfect for pegboards, van racking, CNC enclosures or the inside lid of a mobile toolbox. A reinforced screw flange on both ends allows you to anchor the rack with standard Ø4–5 mm wood or sheet-metal screws, giving you rock-solid retention even on rough rides.

Fast, Support-Free Printing

Optimized for FDM, the model prints flat on its back—no supports, no waste plastic, no post-processing headaches. A 0.20 mm layer height and 25 % gyroid infill balance speed and strength, delivering a finished part in roughly 4 hours on an Ender-3-class printer while using ≈ 48 g of filament.

Built to Withstand Real-World Abuse

The hefty wall thicknesses and filleted edges resist crack propagation when you’re hustling between jobs or tossing tools back on the rack. PETG and ASA versions shrug off UV and summer heat, so your holder won’t warp, sag or lose its grip over time.

Perfect for Makers, Mechanics & DIY Pros

Workshop pegboard – keep your most-used drivers visible and sorted by size.

Mobile service vans – prevent tools from sliding, rattling or damaging sharp edges.

Electronics benches – mount above your ESD mat to protect delicate tips.

CNC / 3D-printer enclosures – stash calibration drivers right where you need them.

Simple Installation

Print the holder with the settings above.

Position on a stud, plywood panel or toolbox lid; mark screw holes.

Drill pilot holes if needed and drive Ø4 mm countersunk screws until heads sit flush.

Slide drivers in—handle labels remain legible for instant tool ID.

Print-Setting Description (EN)

Orientation – Place the holder flat on its back, blades/tips pointing upward; this aligns layer lines with the load path and keeps slot edges crisp without supports.

Layer Height – 0.20 mm with a 0.4 mm nozzle balances finish and speed. Drop to 0.16 mm if you want a silk-smooth Wera logo.

Walls / Perimeters – 4 walls (≈ 1.6 mm) plus 5 solid top & bottom layers create a tough shell that shrugs off workshop knocks.

Infill – Gyroid 25 % gives plenty of rigidity; bump to 100 % if you’ll be slamming the holder into a service van every day.

Supports – None needed; every overhang is ≤ 45 °.

Material – PLA is fine indoors; choose PETG, ABS or ASA for garages that hit 40 °C+.

Temps & Speed – PLA 200 °C / 60 °C bed, PETG 240 °C / 80 °C bed, ABS 255 °C / 100 °C bed; print at ~55 mm s⁻¹ walls, 70 mm s⁻¹ infill.

Adhesion – 5 mm brim or a light glue-stick stripe keeps the first layer locked down.

Estimated resources – ≈ 48 g filament (∼ 74 cm³) and ~4 h on an Ender-3-class printer.
