K1C Lid Raiser / Riser - No Hardware

I wanted a simple lid riser that I could rely on but could also remove quickly (without tools) for certain types of filament. This design was purpose-built to fit my K1C (2025) and fits one to a corner. The design fits snugly in each corner and features a hollowed out recess on the underside to make room for the case screw. Notched blocks at the top of each fit the cover and are tall enough to hold the risers steady during printer operation. The riser in the original design is designed to lift the lid about 25mm from it's at-rest position, leaving about a 20+ mm air gap that helps ventilate the chamber to keep it from becoming too warm. (UPDATE: I added a model lifting the lid another 10mm (30mm gap total) to allow plenty of clearance for the chain/guide just in case yours is a little higher than mine.) When you want to lower the lid (e.g., when printing materials like ABS), they come out without the use of any tools (no screws to back out, etc.).

I printed test prints in PETG and PLA, and am using aluminum-tone silk PLA in the ones you see in the pictures. Because of the overhang, you'll want to print with support enabled. But, to keep from having to dig support material out of the blind-hole cavity on the underside and because the cavity is fairly small, enable the "don't support bridges" option (if using Creality Print). I keep my support/object xy distance at 0.35 mm and my support/object first layer gap at 0.2 mm and the support material pops right off.
