Tesla S3XY Button Mount for Tesla Model 3/Y Steering Wheel

Here are my S3XY button mounts for the steering wheel of Tesla Model 3 and Model Y (Legacy steering wheels). The mounts are taped AND clipped into the steering wheel trim for an optimal fit and to withstand any normal pressure applied to the button during use - everything is firm and rigid, installation takes 2 minutes

The finished print can be sanded on the edges with a 500 grit sanding pad and also prepped with a small file, then refined with a little heat at the end, but after removing the supports, the visible part of the mount is clean

The model features a small hole to remove the buttons from the back with a screwdriver if necessary, no need to use the factory tape on the back of the Enhance S3XY buttons, the fit is excellent and the buttons will stick to it without tape

Mounting to the steering wheel is recommended with 3M VHB 5952 or similar, the surface must also be degreased and clean on the steering wheel trim side. Please refer to the photo gallery for installation instructions! I normally boost the adhesive strength of the tapes on my models with a drop of super glue, so that the side sticking to the model is really well bonded

Clip it first with the "hooking part" into the trim, then tape it on the steering wheel side. The hooking part manages to withstand the pressure exerted on the button, in combination with the tape
