As the first Soviet-designed mass-produced tank, the T-18 (also known as the Maly Soprovozhdeniya-1 or MS-1) was modeled on the Renault FT concept and played a pivotal role in establishing Soviet armored doctrine. Serving through the 1930s and saw action during the early stages of World War II—often converted into static pillboxes or infantry support platforms—this model features distinct riveted armor plates, a octagonal turret topped with a cupola, dual ball-mount secondary armaments, and the iconic rear trench-crossing "tail."
