Threaded ball 45 mm M6 – printed internal thread, flat base

A 45 mm ball with a printed M6 internal thread that screws straight onto an M6 rod, bolt or lever – no insert, no glue.

**Uses:** ball knob for levers and machines (lathe, mill, drill press); cap for a protruding M6 rod or bolt end.

## Printed thread

+0.3 mm on the diameter, as printed holes come out small. Print at 0.15 mm layers or finer, 4+ walls; if tight, run an M6 tap through.

## Printing

Flat base and hole down, as saved. No supports needed: the steepest overhang, 70.5° from vertical, is only the narrow rim next to the base. PLA or PETG, 3–4 walls, 10–20 % infill (solid volume 47 cm³).
