160mm tall spiral vase mode print. Quick but fragile 160mm tall. spiral vase mode enabled. please note on some of the surfaces there may be small gaps due to the single layer nature of spiral vase mode. id recommend using the solid profile but i know users like a spiral option.

A1 ABS – 0.28mm, 2W, 5% Gyroid (Kingroon ABS) This profile is tuned for Kingroon Black ABS on an unenclosed Bambu Lab A1 , used in a low-airflow environment . The room was ventilated with an open window, but without direct airflow hitting the printer.

This print was part of a personal challenge to push the A1 beyond its usual material limits — because I don't like being restricted.

The profile is optimized to handle ABS on an open printer with enhanced bed adhesion and minimal warping:

Key settings:

- 0.28mm layer height , 0.4mm nozzle - 2 walls , 5% infill - Flow ratio increased to 1.00 to improve ABS flow - No cooling fan enabled - Printed on a textured PEI plate , cleaned with IPA - Vase printed on a raft , placed over a custom disc with a 40mm brim to stabilize the base By default, the disc with brim is disabled in the .3mf file. You can try printing without it, but results may vary — I do not guarantee success without it. ✅ For optimal results , enable the disc in the Objects tab when slicing. Bambu Studio will display a warning, but you can bypass it.

⚠️ By doing so, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with printing and printer behavior.

The print was done in Ludicrous Mode (166%) , with speeds increased gradually (100% → 124% → 166%). 🔧 Tip: Change speed after the raft and disc layers are printed to hide speed-related artifacts on the finished print.

✅ Photos of the printer setup and final print are attached. (Ignore the magnets — they were left on the bed to flatten another part and were too hot to safely remove.)

⚠️ Reminder: ABS releases fumes — ventilate the room, but avoid airflow directly hitting the print.

❄️ Important: Wait for the bed and print to cool down completely before removing it and separating the part from the raft. I skipped this step to upload the profile faster, but you should wait — it improves finish quality. 🛠️ Some light post-processing may be needed to remove raft remnants.
