I was looking for something to help my wife open a bottle type by herself that she often had to come to me to open for her.  This one she gets me to open often is BodyArmor Lyte.  It has an approximately 40 mm diameter cap.

I had been looking at a model made by a group school project at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden that they posted as Bottle Opener- Udjat , located at https://www.printables.com/model/95618-bottle-opener-udjat?lang=cs   This model has great handles that give a person a lot of leverage to crack open a bottle cap.  However the design required some dexterity and controlled strength to press onto a cap before it could work.  My favorite design for ease of setup and effective operation turned out to be one posted as PET Bottle Opener 2nd ( New Standard)  at   https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4570640/files   I decided that if I combined part of the handle of the Swedish design with the easy setup of the the PET Bottle Opener 2nd (New Standard) design into one model it would be more suitable for my wife.  Both of these models were sized to fit smaller bottle caps than the 40mm cap I was aiming to open.

I found that once I had used my 3D modelling software (SketchUp Make 2017 with BoolTools2) to hack the Swedish design and add the resulting half-handle to the PET Bottle Opener design, that my slicer, Bambu Studio, could easily scale it to fit any bottle top I might want.  This was convenient as I do my 3D modelling on one floor of the house and the alterations in Bambu Studio where the printer is on another floor.  At first, I used the original model of the the PET Bottle Opener without my added handle, scaled it to an approximate size with Bambu Studio, printed enough layers so the first bits of the longer parts of the gripping fingers of the PET Bottle Opener part appeared, then stopped the print to test on a bottle cap for the fit.  This allowed a minimal use of filament for tests.  I zeroed in on a good size for a 40mm bottle cap quickly.  I scaled the hacked remix PET Bottle Opener with the Swedish design half handle and printed a successful opener that my wife might use instead of having to find me to open her bottles.  I'm very pleased with how easy this is to operate.  Those Swedes know how to make a handle that fits my hand.

I used Bambulabs ABS with Bambu Studio default settings in a Bambulabs P1S printer.  I have my printer, which is an enclosed printer, inside a larger box that has a fan to ventilate it directly outdoors through a window fitting.  I am very sensitive to the fumes ABS puts out.  I even wear charcoal filters on a respirator when I open the door of the printer after a print.  The design would work in PLA or PETG.
