5-Ways Roller Coaster & Tower Marble Run Connector

Marble Run 5-Ways Roller Coaster Add-on has a new extension ! Connect the 5-Ways Roller Coaster Add-on v1b to the Standalone Tower Marble Run v8 and expand your 5-Ways Roller Coaster Add-on (and Marble Run 003) enormously with just a few changes. As it's necessary to supply 2 motors with power (one for the standard Marble Run 003 and one for the Tower Marble Run v8), you will need a USB hub with a power supply unit. Of course, it's much nicer if you switch to battery power. There are already corresponding add-on solutions for such projects (check-out https://makerworld.com/de/collections/5053812 ). The Tower Marble Run v8 model already has the prerequisites for installing a battery solution, but you can of course use your conventional USB-cable. If you are not afraid to do some soldering work, I recommend switching to battery power. The motors are controlled separately via on/off switches and a potentiometer, and the batteries can be charged via USB-C connection.

- Download 5-Ways Roller Coaster v1b https://makerworld.com/de/models/594509 - Don’t print Plate No. 9 - Follow the assembly instructions of 5-Ways Roller Coaster v1b except Steps 13, 14 - Download Tower Marble Run v8  https://makerworld.com/de/models/1060939 - Don’t print Plate No . 4 - Follow the assembly instructions of Tower Marble Run v8  except Steps 30-32, 40-43   Connect 5-Ways Roller Coaster to Tower v8:

- Print all Parts of 5-Ways Roller Coaster & Tower Marble Run Connector ( this print profile) - Follow the assembly instructions. If you already have the 5-Ways Roller Coaster v1b Add-on and Tower Marble Run v8, you will need to detach some parts in order to attach the new parts. Note:

- Not compatible with hand crank “Crank for 5-Ways Roller Coaster v1B” - I’ve used PLA on Bambu Cool Plate with liquid glue and had neither adhesion nor warping nor other problems.  Boost Me I am happy about every boost that helps me to create more beautiful add-ons and models.
