Motorcycle Phone & GPS Handlebar Mount

22 MM MOTORCYCLE PHONE & GPS HANDLEBAR MOUNT

This adjustable handlebar mount was originally designed for my own motorcycle navigation setup.

The design uses a split clamp around a 22 mm handlebar and an adjustable tilt mechanism to position a compatible phone holder, device frame or navigation display at a practical viewing angle.

It is a functional, hardware-mounted design using standard M3 screws and is intended as a solid base for motorcycle, scooter and custom handlebar setups.

This model was created around the specific device setup I use myself and should not be considered a universal phone holder .

Phone dimensions, cases, device frames and mounting-hole positions can vary significantly.

Before printing, compare the model dimensions and mounting points with the device or holder you plan to use.

A custom adapter or modified holder may be required for devices with different dimensions.

PRINTING

Recommended settings:

- Printer: Bambu Lab X1 Carbon - Nozzle: 0.4 mm - Layer height: 0.16 mm - Wall loops: 5 - Infill: 15% - Material: PETG HF - Supports: None - Orientation: Use the orientation included in the prepared print profile PETG is recommended for this type of functional outdoor part because it provides better temperature resistance and durability than basic PLA.

HARDWARE

The current build uses:

- 8 × M3 × 8 mm socket-head cap screws Check the required screw length for your own device frame, adapter and mounting configuration. Different accessories may require different screw lengths.

INSTALLATION

- Place the two clamp halves around the 22 mm handlebar. - Fasten the clamp securely using suitable M3 screws. - Attach your compatible phone holder, device frame or adapter to the angled mounting platform. - Adjust the tilt until the display is clearly visible. - Tighten all fasteners so the mount cannot rotate or move. - Test the complete assembly while the motorcycle or scooter is stationary before riding. Before riding, always verify that:

- The clamp fits the handlebar correctly - All screws are securely tightened - The device is firmly retained - The mount does not interfere with steering or controls - The display does not obstruct visibility - The assembly remains secure under normal vibration Inspect the mount regularly, especially after long rides, impacts or exposure to changing temperatures.
