Portable, Magnetic Chess Set, self-aligning pieces

A portable, magnetic chess set including board, pieces, and storage box.

Self-aligning pieces: Each piece contains 2 hidden 6x3mm magnets that snap precisely into place on the board

Magnetic board: Every field holds 2 hidden 6x3mm magnets, installed via pause print ( pre-configured in .3mf )

Dual-color board: One base color, the second printed as separate tiles and glued on for classic look

Magnetic edges: 4 hidden 3x3mm magnets per board quarter connect all sections securely

Polarity tool: Included tool ensures magnets always inserted with correct polarity

Secure box: Closes magnetically with 4x 6x3mm magnets, lid held in place by press-fit hinge rod – no glue needed

Print options

- Prints completely without support - Standard printer settings work fine - Magnet pauses are already added in the .3mf - Polarity tool as optional print to always put correct magnet Materials needed

- Print “Box Lid & Magnet Helper Tools“ first - Assemble magnet polarity helper by adding two magnets with differing polarity - Print one color set first, including (e.g. for Black PLA) while adding magnets to board and board pieces while printing - Pieces plate (16x, Black) - Board Top Right - Board Bottom Left - Board Pieces (16x, Black) - Print other color set (e.g. with White PLA) and add magnets while printing - Add magnets with other polarity (using the tool!) to the chess pieces - Glue other-colored (e.g. White) board pieces on the other (e.g. Black) boards - Print rest of the box (Lid & Hinge Rod) - Assemble box by putting lid on bottom and, using a little force, put hinge rod in
