Included parts:

Rings- These are used to throw in the water and onto the buoys. They float in the water for easy retrieval.

Buoys- These float around the pool or bath and have rings thrown onto the pegs on top of them. They also have a chamber beneath them for the floating and realignment mechanism. There are also handles on the sides that clip with the connectors and can be tied with a waterproof rope to other buoys and objects.

Connectors- these clip onto the handles on the sides of the buoys and allow multiple buoys to be chained together.

You can also buy waterproof ropes to connect your buoys.

Preparation:

To prepare a buoy, take it and flip it upside down in your pool or bathtub so that the hole on the bottom is facing the sky. Then fully submerge the buoy while holding it, and watch for bubbles to come out of the hole. Once no bubbles are coming out of the hole, let go of the buoy. Because the water is centering the mass of the buoy, it will stay upright at all times. If the buoy starts to lean over after some time, check if there is air in the chamber and fill it back with water if there is.

If you want to connect multiple buoys, use the connector to chain together two buoys from their handles. You can also buy and use any waterproof rope to make a flexible connection.

How to set up Buoy

Games:

This toy can be used for many kinds of games and play. Here are some examples of games you can play with other people. Keep in mind that these are just some ideas to get you started, so build upon them! Remember, be creative and feel free to make your own games as well!

Classic ring toss- Set up some buoys in the water that can be either connected to each other or floating freely. Everybody takes turns trying to throw rings onto the pegs of the buoys from a set distance. Play until there are no more rings that you can throw, and whoever has the most rings thrown onto the pegs successfully wins.

Buoy fishing- Put buoys all around the water floating freely and attach waterproof ropes to the throwing rings (not to the buoys). There should be one ring per person playing. When the game starts, people throw the rings out onto the pegs and reel the buoys in. Play until there are no more buoys left, and whoever reeled in the most buoys wins. If two people grab onto the same buoy, either of them can take it if they are able to successfully tug it their way!

Ring stacking- Have each person playing take one buoy and place it in front of them, floating freely. Give each person five or so rings. When the game starts, the goal for each player is to stack their rings in a pile on top of their buoy. However, they cannot touch or move their buoy in the process. Other players can splash around and make your rings fall off, so be careful! The winner is the person who stacks all of their rings first.

Free play- Do whatever you want with the buoys! Remember that this is also a toy, so you can play around with it however you'd like!
