Beim einsetzen der Sechskantmuttern in die Sternmuttern hilft auch etwas Klebstoff um die Sechskantmuttern zusätzlich noch etwas zu fixieren, falls diese zu locker sind.

Ich habe noch eine weitere Version (V2) der Sternmutter hinzugefügt. Bei dieser wird die Sechskantmutter während des druckes (der Drucker pausiert in der entsprechenden Schicht und der Druckkopf fährt weg) eingesetzt. Dies ergibt ein besseres Gesamtbild der Sternmutter. (mehr Informationen hierzu im Kurs “ Designprinzipien für den 3D-Druck von Teilen ”)

Ich habe vor dem einsetzen noch vorsichtig einen Tropfen Klebstoff auf die Seitenwand gegeben (Vorsicht das nichts aufs Druckbett und in den Bereich der noch bedruckt wird kommt).

Die Überdeckung der Sechskantmutter wurde mittels gestaffelten Schichten realisiert, da es bei den Testteilen mit Opferschicht recht schwer war die Opferschicht im Bereich des Loches sauber zu entfernen. (mehr Informationen hierzu im Kurs “ Designprinzipien für den 3D-Druck von Teilen ”)

Das Modell wurde mit einer Schlüsselweite von 12,95mm modelliert, dies passt für meinen Drucker / meine Einstellungen, muss aber evtl. für andere Drucker noch angepasst werden!

When inserting the hexagon nuts into the star nuts, a little glue also helps to fix the hexagon nuts if they are too loose.

I have added another version (V2) of the star nut. In this version, the hexagon nut is inserted during printing (the printer pauses in the corresponding layer and the print head moves away). This results in a better overall appearance of the star nut. (more information on this in the course “ Design Principles for 3D Printed Parts ” )

I carefully applied a drop of adhesive to the side wall before inserting it (be careful not to get anything on the print bed and in the area that is still being printed).

The covering of the hexagon nut was realised by means of staggered layers, as it was quite difficult to remove the sacrificial layer cleanly in the area of the hole on the test parts with a sacrificial layer. (more information on this in the course “ Design Principles for 3D Printed Parts ” )

The model was modelled with a spanner width of 12.95mm, this fits my printer / my settings, but may have to be adapted for other printers!
