flush trim base for Bosch Professional GKF 18V-8

I designed this flush trim base for the Bosch Professional GKF 18V-8 to extend its original base for easier handling of the router as well as flush trimming. With this base the router is less likely to tip over randomly, additionally you will be able to trimm surfaces flush. I mainly use this for flushtrimming edge bending. The base has a flush trim capacity of 4 mm, meaning you can flush trim pertruding parts with a maximum of 4 mm of elevation.

To put the base on, unscrew the original glide base of the router, place the new one in the same place and use the original screws to fasten it down. Make sure the screws are seated properly and don't extend out of the recess in the base.

The screws should have a little play so you can center the hole in the middle to the router using a centering pin. The outer radius of the base will then be extending from the center of the router bit. This will help with using the base together with a guide as the radius from the bit to the edge should be equal all around the round half of the base.
