Modular Key Cover — AirTag + 1/4" Bit Holder (Magnetic, Snap-Together)

Turn your everyday key into a modular EDC. This design lets you mix and match compact modules that snap together securely: a key cover , a screwdriver handle with magnetic 1/4" bit storage , and an AirTag holder for easy tracking.

Requires: - 19 Magnets Ø6×2 mm round neodymium!!! - One (1) M3 Screw and One (1) M3 Nut !!!

What it is

- Modular system: Combine only what you need today (Key cover only / Key + screwdriver and 7 bit's / AirTag + Screwdriver). - Snap-together with magnets: Modules click together firmly beseeches of integrated 6x2 magnets and separate when you want to go lighter. - Built-in magnets: 6×2 mm round magnets keep the spare bit in place and assist module alignment. - Portable by design: Slim profile for pocket carry; no rattling. - Key Cover Module – Protects and adds grip to your metal key while keeping it compact. ( Requires 12mm M3 Screw and M3 Nut ) - Screwdriver Module – Works as a driver handle and stores up to 7 of  1/4" hex bit inside; magnet retention. - AirTag Module – Safely houses an Apple AirTag for quick tracking of your keys. Uses standard 1/4" (6.35 mm) hex bits and Ø6×2 mm neodymium magnets.

Print Recommendations

- Material: PLA or PETG (PLA = crisp fit; PETG = tougher) - Layer height: 0.20 mm - Walls: 3–4 perimeters - Infill: 30% (Gyroid/Cubic) - For stronger Scredriver - Use 8 Walls - Supports: Not required (orient flat sides on the build plate) - Orientation: Print each module with the flattest face down for best surface and dimensional accuracy. - Dry-fit first. Ensure the key slides in and snaps as intended. Remove Supports and light post-processing if needed. - Magnets: Use Ø6×2 mm round neodymium (N35 or higher). - M3 Screw 12mm and M3 Nut - Put key and PLA discs (2 small discs that a printed, they are required for smoother sliding of the key ) on each side of the key, slide then together into the cover and align all holes, push trough the M3 screw and tighten n on the other side with a M3 Nut.

- Adhesive: A tiny drop of gel CA (super glue) in each pocket. Seat the magnet flush; let cure fully. - Bit storage: Place your preferred 1/4" bit inside the driver module; the magnet will hold it in place. - Snap together the modules you want to carry. Done. Tip: Mark one magnet “+” and its mate “–” during assembly to keep polarity consistent across sets.

Notes

- Tolerances are tuned for standard 0.4 mm nozzles. If your fit is too tight/loose, scale ±1–2% or lightly sand contact edges. - Keep strong magnets away from pacemakers and small children (choking hazard). - AirTag is a trademark of Apple Inc.
