📐Corner Clamp for Woodworking🪚

I needed some corner clamps for a woodworking project that I'm currently working on.

Most of the corner clamps I found still needed a traditional one-hand clamp for tightening, so I designed my own that are fully 3D printed and don't need additional parts.

I increased the wall count a little bit in the print profile to ensure that the parts are strong enough.

The thread in the rail may look a bit rough after printing, but it worked like a charm without post-processing.

0.2mm layer, 5 walls, 15% infill

A1 Mini 0.2mm layer, 5 walls, 15% infill

Tough PLA, 0.28mm layer, 3 walls, NO CLAMP Bumped up the layer height for quicker printing, and cut the walls down to 3. It has been plenty strong for me!

As I have plenty of clamps already I have also removed the clamping bar from my build plate

A1M countersunk screw support Same as the normal profile, but added a negative part in the screw head for a 8 x 1 ½ wood screw (38mm depth), so you can gently countersink a screw with thread locker so you can use a drill to quickly clamp and unclamp.

0.2mm layer, 3 walls, 15% infill, less time, less filament

Corrected thread direction + countersunk screw I made the thread run perpendicular to the print direction, this should strengthen it up in addition to having the hole to insert a screw to quickly thread the bolt.

Fold, superglue, clamp, profit!

0.2mm layer, 5 walls, 15% infill

0.8mm nozzle, 0.4mm layer, 3 walls, 15% infill Used 0.8 nozzle with a few less walls for faster printing. Strength seems comparable.
