Magnetic Husky T-Handle Allen Set Wall Mount

Overview

This is a magnetic tool holder for the Husky T-Handle Imperial/Metric set . Its designed so that you can pull the tool horizontally off the wall, not requiring space above the holder to remove the tool.

There is a design for both the imperial and metric handle set, make sure to print one of each as they are different. The standoffs are the same between each.

Print Settings

I prefer to print these with 4 walls/top/bottom and 30% infill, mainly for the screw holes. No supports.

It uses embedded magnets. When printing, simply add a pause at the layer before the magnet holes are covered and slide them it.

You may want to use super glue or your metal extruder may pull the magnets out!

Bill Of Materials

You could probably sub out the #8 hardware for M4 if you prefer metric. The insert hole is 6mm.

For each mount you will need:

- x1 Husky T-Handle Set - x7 20x10x5mm magnets (cheapest on AliExpress) - x2 #8 Threaded Heat Insert - x2 #8-¾" Machine Screw - x4 #6-¾" Wood Screw  Assembly

This is apart of my large collection of custom designed Wall Mounted Tool Holders . These are all designed for a specific tool model for a perfect fit.

I try to design all my mounts to have the tool to be removed horizontally from the wall, allowing for mounts to be packed more densely on the wall as space above/below is not needed for tool removal. For metallic tools, this often includes using a small embedded neodymium magnet.
