Описание

This is a Gridfinity base grid for the Milwaukee 11-Compartment Packout Organizer (model #48-22-8430). It allows you much greater flexibility than using the bins that come with it, because you can mix and match your own bins in whatever configuration you like. Big bins, small bins, two layers of stacked bins, custom inserts for your tools… all of it is possible. The Gridfinity system can completely transform the way you use Packout organizers.

This is a remix of my Gridfinity baseplates for the 5-compartment (half-size) Packout organizer , adapted to fit the 11-compartment (wider) and taller organizer. This model offers the following features:

- A Gridfinity base grid for the 11-Compartment Packout Small Parts Organizer (model #48-22-8430). It prints in multiple sections in order to fit on the beds of most 3D printers. There is a single-piece version if you are lucky enough to have a printer large enough to handle it. - No fasteners or attachments are needed. The weight of the bins keeps the grid bases from moving around. - The left and right side base grids each give you two grids each of size of 7 x 4.5 units (using the standard 42mm Gridfinity spacing). This is the largest size of base grid that can fit inside a Packout. - There is a strip in the middle that can accommodate a 1x7 grid . Alternately, there are other custom inserts that fill this oddly-shaped space, if you have something specific you want to put here. - The left and right side grids accommodate Gridfinity bins sized up to 12U (height units) tall (or about 85mm ). - The middle row accommodates a slightly shorter bin, about 9 units tall. How to Use These Grids

Print the set of Gridfinity base grids to fit your container and lay them onto the bottom of your Packout.

Then select the bins that you want to use, and print the sizes you want:

Full height (12U) bins

Half height (6U) stacking bins

If you want to customize your own Gridfinity bins, check out this excellent parameterizable Gridfinity generator model on MakerWorld. There are a variety of Gridfinity inserts available so your Packout will be infinitely customizable.

To prevent items inside your bins from shifting as you transport your Packout, print these Packout Organizer Lid Gap Fillers and attach them to the inside of the lid. You'll need two to fill the lid of the wider Packout organizer.

Do you have the shallower Packout organizers? I have created grid bases for those too, and matching bins!

Multi Piece Grid Bases This profile contains the left and right side base grids for the 11-compartment Packout Organizer. The bases are split into multiple parts so that they can be printed on “regular” size 3D printer beds such as a Bambu Lab A1, P1, P2, X1 series.

The profile is configured for PLA. If you expect to keep your Packout organizers in high temperature environments such as inside a vehicle, consider using PETG or another more temperature resilient filament.

One Piece Grid Bases This profile contains the base grids for the 11-compartment Packout Organizer, set up as single-piece grids. You will need a large bed printer such as a Bambu Lab H2S/H2D/H2C to print these.

The profile is configured for PLA. If you expect to keep your Packouts in high temperature environments such as inside a vehicle, consider using PETG or another more temperature resilient filament.
